Gay Friendly Businesses (dot) com was created to give the LGBT+ and Friends a way of promoting their businesses. When people use this site, the hope is that they want to promote friendly businesses and that they, the customer, will receive respectful treatment. Still today, there are news stories about people being turned away from businesses just because of who they love.
